ZIPAR has conducted a validation workshop of the Development Finance Assessments (DFA) in Lusaka. The Development Finance Assessment (DFA) is a study by ZIPAR to assess Zambia’s development finance landscape.
It basically maps out the country’s current finance sources that are both international and domestic (both public and private).
The assessment conducts a trend analysis of major financial flows in Zambia for the period 2010-2020 and aims to analyse the prospects of these flows.
It further analyses factors influencing the identified flows while reviewing reforms and innovations that may enhance the various sources of finance.
An assessment of the flows to national priorities and strategies is being undertaken while proposing actionable recommendations and a roadmap for the Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF).
ZIPAR Executive Director Dr Herrick Mpuku welcomed the participants urging them to make meaningful contributions freely in the process of validating the report.
